a seleno-scatterbrain

Hello there! Nice to meet you. I'm a medical student-researcher from Jakarta, Indonesia, currently undergoing a research year in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is my very first blog and I'm really excited about it! Like the name of the site I'm quite a scatterbrain - I believe that life is worth exploring and I devote my free time attempting new stuff here and there - my interests are particularly in crafts - journalling and cardmaking, particularly; arts - I enjoy observing and indulging myself in miniature paintings; jewelry - I love indie sterling silver animal-inspired pieces; pretty skies - sunrises, sunsets, starry skies, galaxies, you name it! I also enjoy reading and writing very much, I find them therapeutic and sometimes just on my way back from lab I would have come up with a new piece I'm dying to write down.

As for the seleno part, it's just for the fact that I am always in love with the moon - its phases, its philosophy - there is something really delicate about it - it always seems lonely but bright, beautiful but sad - I can relate to it in many ways.

To sum everything up, this blog is dedicated to whatever is on my mind, and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoy writing it.
